Common questions

Do teammates need to use the web app?

No. Anyone can connect Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, or their phone over IMAP and SMTP. Each app uses its own app password, which they can revoke at any time.

How is billing worked out for a team?

Everyone gets a free Personal inbox on @chebu.email. For your own domain, Business plans are Mini (5 mailboxes), Business (30), and Enterprise (unlimited), each a flat monthly price in dollars or naira with pooled storage and no per-seat billing. Adding a teammate's mailbox never adds a per-person charge. See the pricing page for details.

Can one person read support@ without seeing billing@?

Yes. Access is per address. Invite each person only to the shared addresses they should read.

Can we move our existing team mail over?

Yes. List the accounts on your current IMAP host and import them together. Missing mailboxes can be created as part of the move, and each import shows its status in settings.
