What import mail does for you
Import over IMAP
Most providers support IMAP. Enter the host and account details, and Chebu copies the mail across. Your old messages end up in Chebu next to your new ones.
Whole-domain moves
Moving a company? List the accounts on one IMAP host and import them together. Missing mailboxes can be created as part of the move, so you don't have to set up every address by hand first.
Track progress
See each import job and its status in settings. Mail keeps arriving normally while imports run. Check back whenever you want to see where things stand.
Switch on your schedule
Import copies your existing mail. New mail starts arriving in Chebu when you point your MX record at it. You decide when to make the switch.

Which providers can I import from?
Any provider that gives you IMAP access to your mailbox. You'll need the IMAP host and the account details for each mailbox you want to bring across.
Can I import a whole team at once?
Yes. For a domain, list the accounts on your current IMAP host and import them together. If a mailbox doesn't exist in Chebu yet, it can be created as part of the move.
How do I know when an import is finished?
Every import job shows its status in settings. Check it any time while the import runs. Your new mail keeps arriving as normal in the meantime.
