Chebu for customer support
A support inbox that doesn't need a helpdesk.
Share support@ with the people who answer customers. Chebu filters out spam and promotions, and replies go out from the support address automatically. Each person keeps their own read and archived state, so nothing slips through because someone else tidied up.
Sound familiar?
Email shouldn't be a second job.
- A helpdesk subscription for what is mostly an email address.
- Customer mail mixed in with newsletters and vendor updates.
- Replies accidentally sent from a personal address.
- One person archives a message, and the rest of the team never sees it.
With Chebu
What changes.
01
Everyone on support@
Invite the people who answer customers. Each sees the address alongside their own mail in the unified inbox. No separate login and no shared password.
Shared inboxes02
Customers in Primary
Promotions and automated updates are sorted away from real customer questions. Spam never reaches the list. The sorting is shared, so everyone on support@ sees the same clean inbox.
Smart sorting03
Replies from support@
Chebu replies from the address the customer wrote to, so conversations stay on support@. Customers see one consistent address, whoever answers. Personal addresses stay out of it.
Unified inbox04
Your read state is yours
Reading, starring, or archiving a support message only changes your view. A teammate who hasn't seen it yet still sees it as new. File messages into your own folders without moving them for anyone else.
Shared inboxes05
Find past conversations fast
Search support@ together with your other accounts by sender, subject, or words in the body. Results show attachment names too. Pull up what a customer said last month in seconds.

FAQ
Common questions
Is Chebu a helpdesk?
It isn't a ticketing tool. If your support is mostly answering an inbox as a small team, a shared address in Chebu often covers it. If you need ticketing features, a dedicated helpdesk may still be a better fit.
Will customers see who answered?
Replies go out from support@ by default, so customers see the support address. You can change the sending address before you send if you want to.
How do we avoid two people answering the same email?
Read and archived state is personal in Chebu, so it doesn't mark a message as handled for everyone. Most small teams agree on a simple habit, like splitting the day or using a shared note. Chebu keeps every message visible to everyone on the address until each person clears it.
Can support staff use their own mail app?
Yes. Anyone can connect Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, or a phone app over IMAP and SMTP. Each app gets its own app password.
