What search does for you
Across accounts
A single query covers your personal inbox, company addresses, and shared inboxes. You don't need to remember which address a message went to. Type what you remember and look at the results.
Sender, subject, and body
Match on who sent it, what it was called, or what it said. A name, a phrase from the message, or an order number is usually enough. Results include mail from every account you can access.
Attachments at a glance
Results show attachment details such as file names. You can spot the message with that PDF without opening every result. It helps when you remember the file better than the email.
Only what you can see
Results are limited to accounts you have access to. Searching never shows you mail from addresses you aren't on. When your access to an address ends, its mail stops appearing in your results.

Common questions
Does search look inside attachments?
Search covers message text and attachment details such as file names, not the contents of the files themselves. If you remember the file name, searching for it is a quick way to find the message.
Does search include shared inboxes?
Yes. Search covers every account you can access, including shared addresses you have been invited to. It does not include addresses you aren't on.
Can I search one account at a time?
Search looks across all of your accounts at once, and each result shows which address it came to. That makes it easy to spot the one you want, even when you aren't sure where it landed.
Can I find mail I imported from my old provider?
Yes. Mail you import into Chebu is part of your mailbox. It shows up in search alongside everything else in that account.
