PDF filling and editing

Fill in, sign, and mark up PDFs in the browser.

Fill in forms, sign, and add text and marks, then save a new version.

How it works

  • Fill in forms

Type into a PDF's own form fields, tick its checkboxes, and pick from its lists. Flatten the fields when you save if the form shouldn't change again.

  • Sign

Draw your signature, type it, or upload a picture of it. Chebu remembers it on your device for the next form.

  • Add text, pictures, and marks

Place text boxes, pictures, shapes, check marks, and dates anywhere on a page. Highlight, underline, or strike through text.

  • Fix a line of text

Pick a line of text to change it. Chebu covers it and places an editable box in the closest matching font, color, and size.

  • Arrange pages

Rotate, reorder, and delete pages, or add a blank one.

  • Saved as a new version

Saving creates a new version in Drive and keeps the original. Your edits stay editable, so you can come back and change them.

FAQ

Common questions

Does Chebu change my original PDF?

No. Your edits sit on top of the original, and saving adds a new version in Drive. The original version is still there.

Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?

Partly. PDFs don't store text as editable paragraphs, so Chebu covers the line you pick and places a text box over it in a matching font. It works best on simple, horizontal text.

Can two people work on the same PDF?

Yes. Edits and comments show up for everyone who has the PDF open.
